Nelson artist turns paintings into evolving installationSara Meij Lisa Chandler said it was an interesting process figuring out how to do an installation as a painter. Traces of the Past comprises of 50 small artworks that will be hung in stages, over a period of three weeks. Chandler said she came up with the idea when she thought about how to do an installation as a painter. Chandler hung 14 paintings on February 28, with 10 more to be hung on March 7, 12 more on March 14 and the last 14 on March 21. People would be able to see all 50 works together during the closing party on March 21 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
