Hightrade boss Li Zhang has been arrested after being on the run for almost a decade. Hightrade boss Li Zhang appeared at the Auckland District Court on Thursday after he was found living in a high-end rental property in Dairy Flat, north of Auckland. In 2017, one of Zhang's co-defendants, Song (Peter) Chang, was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison by Sydney District Court Judge Robyn Tupman for tax fraud. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Zhang owned Hightrade, a Chinese construction company that was behind a golf course and resort development called Resort Hunter Valley. The Dairy Flat rental property where New Zealand police arrested Zhang has a CV of $3.15 million, according to council property values.
