An abuse survivor, molested while being caned at high school, says his complaints were ignored by the Ministry of Education. The 66-year-old, who Stuff has agreed not to name, attended Wellington's Rongotai College in the mid 1960s. Stuff asked the Ministry if the sexual abuse complaint was investigated when raised more than a decade ago. STUFF Noel Mackay, pictured on his retirement as principal of Rongotai College in 1981.
