Manchester City star Leroy Sane has been backed to push through a move to Bayern Munich this summer, because Pep Guardiola will be focusing on signing defenders. The Citizens are expected to spend big on defensive reinforcements at the end of the season. City are in the middle of a defensive crisis, and are in desperate need of a new centre-back. Things got worse for them earlier this season when Aymeric Laporte went down with a bad injury, which kept him out from late August to the middle of January. And ahead of the summer window, Guardiola is expected to dip into the market to improve his side’s chances at regaining the Premier League next season.
