"With precise planning, the air force targeted sites used to store Turkish drones TB2 in the air base of Misurata at dawn today," the eastern-based army's information office said in a statement. "The airstrike accurately and successfully destroyed shipments of drones, causing successive explosions and burning of Turkish drones," it added. The transport of those military shipments has been tracked to the storing sites, including the Misurata air base. Haftar's eastern-based army has been leading a military campaign in and around Tripoli since early April, trying to take over the city and topple the UN-backed government.
