Police in Kitui are investigating an incident in which officers from a financial services firm stormed the home of a borrower and took off with his cows and goats. Cosmas Munyi of Kathivo village said staff from Kabati Financial Services Association raided his home at night by cutting the padlock at his gate to gain entry while the family slept. I had not defaulted by the time the officers struck and took away my animals,” Munyi said at his home on Thursday. The officers took three cows, five goats and the 10,000-litre tank. Ligami said the Kitui CID boss who was not in at the time will provide details on the investigations.
