The remains were found stashed in a mattress and hidden in the pit for almost five months at his residence in Nyali, Mombasa county. Police on Tuesday retrieved the body of a Dutch national who was brutally murdered from a septic tank. Addressing the media in Nyali, Macharia said the detectives will conduct DNA tests to establish his identity. Two of the suspects led to the recovery of his motor vehicle within Mombasa, according to the county CID boss. A brother in-law of the deceased and a family doctor witnessed the process of pulling out the body from the tank.
