At last night’s BAFTA Awards in London, Irish Production Company Element Pictures, won seven BAFTA awards for their co-production, The Favourite. The film, living up to its name, is about Queen Anne and the two women vying for her affections. Among the wins was Production Design, a nod to the cinematographer of the film, Dubliner Robbie Ryan. After the awards, the company took to Twitter on behalf of producers, Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe. Our producers, crew and talent continue to create world class content.”The movie also received the most number of Oscar nominations this year.
