Ahead of ICC Cricket World Cup, Indian opener Rohit Sharma has said that being the vice-captain of the side has its own responsibilities and he is aware of them. He feels that he has to provide inputs and help out his captain Virat Kohli when the situations get tricky. “Being a vice-captain, it is my responsibility to stand by him (Virat Kohli) and help him when he is in doubt. That’s what we have done in the last few years,” Rohit Sharma told India Today. This comes after Virat Kohli too had earlier said that he always takes the inputs of Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni in crunch situations.
