Three people died in Odisha’s Bhadrak district on Monday night allegedly after consuming spurious liquor at a post-election feast. Bhadrak district collector Gyana Das said it is not yet clear whether the deceased consumed spurious liquor. “We are suspecting the deaths are due to spurious liquor. Chief district medical officer of Bhadrak, Dr BK Dash said the sick villagers probably ate stale mutton curry along with the liquor. The district administration had ordered closure of all liquor shops in the district a day ago due to elections.
