Prayers Beyond Boundaries Ministry Evangelist Lucy Wa Ngunjiri will meet with Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero to discuss why permits issued to her to hold prayers at Uhuru park on June 1 were revoked by the County government. “I will also take the opportunity to ensure that the Mashujaa day bookings I have made are not interfered with as well as the Madaraka day prayers I intend to host next year,” she added. Wa Ngunjiri has however stood her ground saying she booked the venue on May 11. Wa Ngunjiri called on Opposition leader Raila Odinga to tell the country the truth about who booked the venue first to set the record straight. This year's Madaraka Day celebrations were held in Nakuru County out of tradition where the fete has always been marked at the Nyayo Stadium.
