Four police officers from Likoni Police station within Mombasa County are under probe over the loss of a loaded G3 rifle. The four officers only indentified by their surnames; Kipyemon, Sang, Kamau and Bundi are being detained at the Port Police. His colleagues, constables Sang, Kamau and Bundi were on duty when the rifle got lost from Kipyemon's house at Likoni police lane. Likoni is one of the hot spot where high crime activities and several Al shabaab returnees like to hide. A source who sought anonymity said that Kipyemon's house where the rifle was kept had no signs of a breaking in.
