Deputy President William Ruto has assured Kenyans that the stalemate over IEBC will be resolved. I want to promise you as the Deputy President that that direction we will not go,” he added. The Deputy President however emphasized that the Constitution must be respected because it is the supreme law of the country. Ruto said the country adopted a new constitution to provide mechanisms and institutions that would manage the affairs for Kenyans. “We said we want a people centered, people driven constitution that makes sure that all Kenyans are equal before the law,” Ruto said.
