The tournament, running through August 26, also hosts the 138-km Gran Fondo Sportive Ride which centres around the historical Citadel. The Coupe De Hue has become the first Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) – registered Gran Fondo Sportive event in Vietnam and only one of a limited number in Southeast Asia.
