The two ministries decided to use the petrol price stabilisation fund to help ease market shocks, with spending set at about 3,000 VND (0.11 USD) per litre for biofuel and unleaded petrol, 4,000 VND per litre for diesel, 3,000 VND per litre for kerosene, and 3,000 VND per kilogram for fuel oil. The price of diesel increased by 5,395 VND to 33,420 VND per litre, while that of kerosene rose by 7,994 VND to 35,926 VND per litre. The new base prices will remain valid until the next adjustment period announced by the MoIT. Since the beginning of 2026, domestic fuel prices have undergone 17 adjustments.
