To mark the Foundation Day, the Greater Noida authority will hold a four-day long event with music shows, youth festivals, athletics competition and other cultural functions by college and university students on offer. Apart from this, residents will also join the celebration at the City Park,” Narendra Bhooshan, chief executive officer of the Greater Noida authority, said. Later in the evening, various sports events will be held at the Greater Noida Stadium, they added. The Uttar Pradesh government established Greater Noida, an industrial town, on January 28, 1991 with an aim to boost industrialisation in the region.
