Girls rule The Hindu Young World painting contest


more-inAisha Mandal of Lodha World School, Dombivli, and Anushhka Anil Jadhav of St. Theresa Convent High School, Dombivli emerged winners in the latest edition of The Hindu Young World Painting Competition, held at the Bombay Stock Exchange’s International Convention Centre on February 4. Over 300 children participated in the event, which was divided into Junior and Senior categories. Kedar A. Charde of D.A.V Public School, Thane and Nandini Dipak Pagrut of Lodha World School, Palava, Dombivli secured second and third position respectively in the Junior category. Prathamesh Somvanshi and Rujuta Mayekar of Model English School, Dombivli secured second and third position respectively in the Senior category. Winners received merit certificates, trophies and cash prizes, and all participants received participating certificates and gift hampers.
