TOKYO (Bernama): Trade wars are stupid as it does not serve any purpose and disturbs the economic progress of countries – including Malaysia, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. "We would not like to have the US-China trade war if more reasonable minds take over. But at the moment we have to accept that there is a trade war and it affects us. "With China getting richer, the world can benefit from a rich market. "Yes, China is exporting a lot but you were threatened by China when it's poor, you're also threatened by China when it is rich.
