KUALA LUMPUR: The Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division will be increasing its surveillance as the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations draw near. Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador said his personnel were on high alert following the recent attacks in Bangladesh. The May 26 blast in Dhaka’s Malibagh neighbourhood, just outside the headquarters of the police’s Special Branch, left two people injured, including a female officer. "For those who were involved in terrorism there, they will have to come back and face the law. Wives and children who followed would have to go for counselling when they come back," he said.
