Dr Mahathir said he will step down “after a certain time for me to put the economy back in order”. Dr Mahathir lamented that PH is not well-liked by some Malaysians now as it has not continued the previous administration's practice of giving out "free money”. Everybody got free money. We don’t have money and we cannot give free money to the people. Dr Mahathir said a country where the people depend on the government for free money will never grow, while a country where people work hard to create wealth will prosper.
