The Delhi Traffic police relaunched its 'Traffic Sentinel' mobile application on Tuesday. Police found that the major complaint was often that the Traffic Sentinel had limited net connectivity, and hence, complaints could not be registered. Moreover, a user can keep a check on his/her reward points and the status of pending complaints. Later, if the offence and the vehicle number is cleared in the photograph/video, reward points will be allocated to the sender." Once the Traffic Sentinel gets a number of reward points, he or she will be intimated through an email.
