Taking into account the rising crimes against women, the Gautam Budh Nagar police in Noida will soon start conducting self-defence workshops for young women in the district. "The process of holding self-defence workshops for young women in the area has been started. Speaking to DNA, a young woman, on condition of anonymity, said, "We feel unsafe on the roads of Noida. Several incidents has shaken us, but let's hope these training classes will help me and hundreds like me, regain confidence." The project comes as a resistance to the rising number of violences against women in the New Delhi and NCR.
