Workers of the Delhi BJP SC Morcha gathered at Ramlila Maidan here for the world record attempt, a Delhi BJP statement said. Delhi BJP spokesperson Ashok Goel said the chef who holds the record for the largest quantity of khichdi cooked in one vessel at 3,000 kg, Vishnu Manohar, had been roped in for the record attempt. The dish included 200 kg of ghee, 400 kg of rice and 500 kg of lentils. The Delhi BJP has sent details of the event for registration with the Guinness World Records. Amit Shah stays awayWhile BJP national president Amit Shah gave the event a miss, other BJP leaders including Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari and Union Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot were present.
