The government had appointed special officers for every village to supervise the process of extending R&R package to the oustees. The Chief Minister had on Friday reviewed the progress of the implementation of R&R package of Mallannasagar project. He had directed the Chief Secretary to ensure that the R&R package was implemented and all the eligible persons received the benefit. “The beneficiaries list is undergoing a dynamic check and we are making sure that no eligible person misses the R&R package. The process of distributing cheques commenced in four villages — Singaram of Kondapaka mandal and Rampur, Bhrahamana Banjerpally of Toguta mandal — and it is expected to be completed shortly.
