The supporters brought along roti buaya (crocodile-shaped bread), originally known as an offering made to the Betawi (Jakarta ethnic group) bride and groom. "We want to have Ahok and Djarot run for the upcoming gubernatorial election," said Doddy Matondang, the coordinator on Monday, August 29, 2016. Doddy added that Ahok-Djarot should continue their term in order to create stability in Jakarta. Meanwhile, Djarot said that he will pass the proposal to the party.
