KUALA LUMPUR: RM300,000 in interim payments have been paid out to AIG Malaysia’s customers who were affected by the massive flash flood in Penang and Kedah, last week. The payments were made to ease their customers’ burden, mainly those who are self-employed. Its chief executive officer Antony Lee said this was part of the company’s social responsibility to its customers. He said the company wants its customers to understand that they are protected from catastrophes. He said it was imperative companies and businesses understand the importance of protecting themselves against such untoward incidences.
