Police in Lagdera are looking for the driver of the bus that killed three people and injured seven others in Barkuke, Garissa county. “We are still looking for the driver, who is still at large and we are optimistic we will arrest him soon. Lagdera police boss Manase Musyoka said preliminary investigations show the driver lost control of the bus after it developed a mechanical problem. We will charge him as soon as he records a statement,” Musyoka told the Star on the phone. Lagdera MP Mohammed Shidiye, who attended the burial of the three victims, urged the national government to rehabilitate the road.
