2,500 addicts treated, helped in North Rift and 630 bars closed


They are Uasin Gishu, Nandi, Trans Nzoia, Elgeyo Marakwet and Baringo. Rono said Uasin Gishu does not have licences for joint bars and restaurants. He is the director of the Uasin Gishu Alcoholic Drinks Control Board. More than 2,500 drug and alcohol addicts have been rehabilitated in North Rift counties in the last year.
