Pub drinker, 37, 'deliberately kicked pregnant woman in the stomach
A pregnant woman lost her unborn baby after she was deliberately kicked in the stomach by a pub drinker during a Valentine's Day altercation, a jury was told. Tamil diaspora to be invited for talks
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has informed the United Nations (UN) that the Tamil diaspora would be invited for discussions to resolve issues in Sri Lanka through an internal mechanism, and that he would not hesitate to grant a Presidential pardon to Tamil youths in prolonged detention upon the conclusion of the legal proceedings concerning them. “The President said that the internal issues of Sri Lanka should be resolved through an internal mechanism of the country and said the Tamil Diaspora would be invited for discussions in this regard,” a press release from the President’s Media Division (PMD) said yesterday (20). The President pointed out that many youths who were arrested as suspects over terrorist activities were released after he came to power. The President also told Guterres that there are no attacks on protesters under his government and that a separate area has been set aside for protesters near his office. Now an online retailer has added another bit as it mistakenly revealed the pricing of the handset. According to the listing, the Realme GT Neo2 is coming in 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage as well as in a beefier 12GB/256GB version. The base variant will go for CNY 2,499 ($387), the 8GB RAM option will set you back CNY 2,699 ($417) and the most powerful version will ask CNY 2,999 ($464).
