The fact is that none of the three major parties have any economic agenda to protect the country’s economy from threats and provide relief to the people. The tragedy is that those who gave the speech of independence and self-reliance while misleading the nation have drowned the country’s economy. The entire economic system has been put under the control of the IMF. For economic stability in the country, the usurious economic system must be abolished.

Punjabi, Urdu poet Ahmed Saleem passes away
ISLAMABAD - The renowned Punjabi and Urdu poet, dramatist, researcher and author of over 175 books, Ahmed Saleem passed away peacefully on Sunday in the federal capital after protracted illness. The late dramatist and poet was the student of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Ustad Daman who breathed his last at the age of 77. He remained associated with the Sustainable Development Policy Institute till his last moment.

Feudalists worldwide degrade women, but even our security forces, meant to protect, have faced accusations of mistreatment, as seen in the Bangladesh Liberation War. Today, brave Baloch women like Amma Yasmeen, Bibi Gul, and Banuk Kareema raise objections against barbarism, despite facing removal from their paths.

Israel continues to bomb south Gaza as Hamas battles IDF

Ashrafi added that since 2002, all political parties in successive Pakistani governments, including various religious groups, supported the two-state solution.

PHOTO: AFPIran has reinforced its air defence capabilities by adding combat drones equipped with air-to-air missiles to its arsenal, state media reported on Sunday. "Dozens of Karrar drones armed with air-to-air missiles have been added for air defence in all border areas of the country," the official IRNA news agency said. When equipped with the Majid missile, the Karrar drone is capable of targeting aerial threats up to a distance of 8 kilometers.
