Pakistan, China agree to enhance cooperation in diverse fields
ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and China on Sunday agreed to enhance focus on high-quality advancements in industry, agriculture, information technology, science and technology to ensure tangible socio-economic benefits for the people through the evolution of CPEC. The agreement was reached during the 4th meeting of CPEC Joint Working Group on International Cooperation and Coordination (JWG-ICC) held here. The meeting, which was co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi and Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of China, Sun Weidong, exemplified the commitment of both countries to foster international cooperation and coordination. Noting that Pakistan and China were All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partners and Iron Brothers, the Foreign Secretary reaffirmed the importance of CPEC in promoting win-win cooperation and sustainable development. The two sides rejected the disinformation campaigns and distorted reporting on CPEC and stressed the need to counter fallacious narratives and misinformation.

HTMS Huskies grab wrestling championship
From Tribune staff reportsTRUSSVILLE — On an otherwise arctic weekend, the Hewitt-Trussville Middle School Huskies brought plenty of heat on the wrestling mat. The wrestling team took first place in a Jasper tournament for 7th – 9th graders. Huskies finishing in first place were Stewart Nelms, Sam Starkey, Michael Ross, Cam Hanks (9), Braxton Davidson, Leo Nelson (9) and Archer Warren (9). Thrid place wrestlers were Jameson Brandon, Griffin Alfano, Jones McQuin, Carson Jones, Judson Howard (9) and Parker Krayer (9). Placing fourth were Colt Stewart, Jayden Stanley, James Harris (9), Banks Vessels and TJ Bullock.

Video proving TTP leaders presence in Afghanistan surfaces
ISLAMABAD - Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s irrefutable evidence about the presence in religious seminary in Kunar province of Afghanistan has been established through a latest video emerged recently. According to the details, the video shows that a graduation ceremony is taking place at a seminary in Kunar, Afghanistan, with top TTP leaders presence which validates Pakistan apprehensions about the militant group’s presence in Afghanistan. Pakistan-Iran Trade
The continuation of trade activities between Pakistan and Iran despite a two-day spike in tensions shows the promise of geo-economics. Even when the two sides exchanged military strikes inside each other’s territory, border crossings did not close and trade commodities were not affected. Now that the situation has de-escalated completely, the non-disruption of trade reflects the maturity shared by both sides. India further intensifies surveillance in IIOJK ahead of Republic Day

Police arrest 12 outlaws
