With the Oscars just around the corner, Google has trained its voice assistant to help users keep track of the movie awards, plus a few other amusing tricks. Google Assistant will now be able to answer questions like what time the 93rd Academy Awards is due to start, which it will adjust according to the user’s time zone, and when asked can also list what movies are nominated in which categories. It can also answer a few joke questions, if asked who’s best dressed or who it predicts will be awarded. In a blog post, Google Assistant senior director of product management Lilian Rincon said this was part of an upgrade to add more features to Google Assistant. Additionally, smart home devices with Google Assistant can now also be set to trigger specific actions at sunrise and sunset, like turning on the lights or activating the sprinkler.

A clear winner in the country’s MyDIGITAL digitisation push, Telekom Malaysia Bhd’s share price hit a new all-time-high of RM6.62 on Feb 9, beating the previous record of RM6.45 in May 2015. Telekom’s revenue fell 5.2% y-o-y to RM10.84 billion in FY2020, within its guidance of a low- to mid-single-digit decline. And couple that with the continuous momentum of the cost optimisation, we do look at a healthy Ebit [that is] more than last year’s RM1.6 billion,” Imri says. “Even if it is a flat year, it would be a five percentage point improvement from minus 5% last year. He also declined to project how Telekom’s revenue and earnings mix are poised to change with the impending changes.

While I have savoured briyani a few times, none have left an impression like the one served at Table Talk in Dorset Hartamas Kuala Lumpur. This Ramadan the restaurant offers briyani, with chicken, beef and lamb option. Diners are served kuih seri muka and kuih lapis alongside a fruit cocktail as appetiser. The chicken briyani is filled with flavour and the chicken is juicy and succulent. NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Thousands of Indian small businesses will organise an event this week in protest at the business practices of foreign e-tailers like Amazon.com Inc, taking a dig at the U.S. group's summit with their own event. Starting Thursday, Amazon is organising a virtual summit in India named "Smbhav", which phonetically means "possible" in Hindi, to showcase opportunities offered by the U.S. firm to get small businesses to expand and sell online. The Smbhav event will include more than 70 speakers and aims to allow small businesses to learn how to grow their businesses in India - a key growth market for Amazon. The event "puts forth how Amazon and our partners leverage digitisation, technology & our ecosystem to drive infinite possibilities for a Digital India", its website said. The latest dispute comes as India also considers revising foreign investment rules for e-commerce which could force companies like Amazon to rework the relationships it has with big sellers.

LONDON (Reuters) - With 100 days to go until the Tokyo Olympics, British taekwondo athlete Lutalo Muhammad is determined to make every second count. "The lesson of every second counts is something that I definitely apply to my personal life and my training life," the 2016 silver and 2012 bronze medallist told Reuters. Every rep in the gym counts, every kick counts when I’m kicking the pad, every punch counts, every lift counts, every extra bit of nutrition counts... that’s the lesson I really learned then. "Every second counts so remembering how marginal the gains and losses are, I think has made me a better man and a better athlete." "Yes, I think it's true I have become more known but also it’s made me a better athlete thanks to the hard lesson I learned in 2016, that every second counts."

(Reuters) - Players should be sanctioned if they cover their mouths while speaking to an opponent or the referee, former Dutch international Clarence Seedorf said on Wednesday. Seedorf was talking to an online European Council hearing on racism at sports events and his comments come after a recent incident in a Europa League match between Scottish club Rangers and Slavia Prague. We are talking about sport, it has to be transparent, so why would I cover my mouth if I need to say something to my adversary?" "I have seen stuff with players speaking and covering their mouth during matches. There were some racist situations in the last weeks or months where the players among themselves had hate speeches.

But as WeWork filed for its IPO, it became clear that it was just weeks away from bankruptcy and its business model was flawed. SoftBank injected another US$3.5 billion into WeWork after the IPO was cancelled. As corporate needs change, flexible space providers such as WeWork can accommodate more or fewer people at the head office. WeWork lost US$3.83 billion last year — almost as much as the US$3.78 billion it lost a year earlier. WeWork told investors last week that this will be slashed by half to -US$900 million this year.
