A downpour just hours ago caused chaos at Section 17 Petaling Jaya. Some of the roads were inaccessible and based on photos circulated among residents, several trees were also uprooted. A resident who only wants to be known as Lily said about six large old trees have been uprooted at Jalan 17/4,17/44,17/31,17/6 and 17/3. One of the large trees also fell over the Tenaga National Berhad’s electric pole and the pole crashed over electric cables. She added the trees were over 40 years old and had been around ever since she was a child.
