For the most part, my conclusion is that they are worse off and that says a lot about institutions, public institutions more generally, and their development. It was as if the potential of the economy took a dip and flattened the growth of the economy thereafter. The rents it created and its increasing exclusiveness tarnished both public institutions and the private sector in deleterious ways. And the thing is, it is the pre-Merdeka generation that has benefited most from it and they headed the various institutions in the country. The world that we live in has become more competitive and requires better and stronger public institutions and firms, but we did not deliver on this key mission.

AmInvest Research was positive on the outlook for Perak Transit after a recent meeting. Secondly, apart from its bread-and-butter “develop-own-operate” (DOO) business model (of which it has two projects in the pipeline, i.e. the Bidor and Tronoh terminals, at present), Perak Transit also sees tremendous potential in the “terminal management contract” (TMC) business model. Under the TMC model, Perak Transit provides largely expertise and assistance in managing third-party bus terminals (with some investment in upgrading and renovation). AmInvest Research said Perak Transit guided for four to five such contracts in FY21F.

BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - A defense lawyer involved in the case around the death in Argentina last year of soccer star Maradona slammed what he called a "trial by media" on Monday after the leak of a report last week alleged "deficient and reckless" behavior by the footballer's medical team. That report, shared with Reuters and other media outlets last week, is due to be presented to prosecutors in Buenos Aires on Monday. No charges have yet been brought in the case and the lawyer for Maradona's psychiatrist said selective leaking was undermining the legal process. "It would seem there is an intention to produce a trial by media, a trial prior to the delivery of justice, and that is not good at all." A lawyer for Maradona's son Dieguito said the report showed "criminal conduct" in the case, adding he would press for full accountability.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - David Warner is "obviously shocked" after being removed as Sunrisers Hyderabad captain and axed from the team but understands what prompted the move, the struggling Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise said. Losing captaincy made Warner's spot in the playing XI untenable and Hyderabad team director Tom Moody said the franchise wanted to get the best out of their four overseas-player slots. "He was obviously shocked and disappointed, and we'd be disappointed if he wasn't feeling that way," Moody told Star Sports channel. Aside from religious and spiritual purposes, many patterns of intermittent fasting are practised worldwide for general wellness. Understanding the link between nutrients and fasting benefits can lead to the identification of fasting-mimicking diets that achieve changes similar to those caused by fasting. Interestingly, this intermittent fasting was practised by Prophet Mohammed about 1,500 years ago. > Weight lossAside from improving metabolic health, intermittent fasting is also an effective tool for weight loss.
