However, before taking to social media, runners may want to think about the Strava police before clicking the post button. The cream of the crop is an account named the Official Marathon Time Integrity Unit (OMTIU), otherwise known as @officialunofficialtime, which boasts over 30,000 Instagram followers. Running influencer Zae Mangu deleted this post after Official Marathon Time Integrity Unit called it out online. His official chip time, which was not initially shared online, was in fact 3 hours 25 minutes and 42 seconds. Her Instagram story read: 'You know this Strava chip time stuff, when I first started running I genuinely had no idea about it.

Protesters started arriving hours before the rally began at Letna plain overlooking the historic centre, where many waved Czech and EU flags. Still, critics have pointed to proposed changes in public media funding as a potential threat to their independence. Coalition officials have argued state funding of public media is common elsewhere in Europe.

Matt Bloomfield’s resurgent Oxford arrived in Southampton for their first league fixture in the city for almost 40 years. Oxford caused a scare with an early near-post corner which Saints goalkeeper Daniel Peretz eventually grabbed hold of and, from his quick throw, the home side opened the scoring. The second came from a quickly-taken corner which saw Archer find Charles 30 yards from goal and the Northern Ireland international curled a beautiful effort into the top right-hand corner. Southampton were dominant in every department, although the pace of the game slowed after a frenetic opening 20 minutes. One corner dropped invitingly to Yunus Konak on the edge of the area, but he fired wastefully over the bar.

Accusations of bullying against Noma’s extraordinary chef-leader Rene Redzepi are not new but resurfaced with a vengeance. At the next Litfest, I met an Irish chef who scorned the cult of Redzepi, still shaken by bullying in Noma. I came to learn that bullying was deeply embedded in the DNA of London kitchens, good, bad, and indifferent, though I would never again be the whipping boy. Redzepi announced his resignation from Noma shortly after, with much beating of the breast and expressions of contrition. The 2026 edition will feature more than 100 events, including chef collabs, pop-ups, producer tastings, demos, talks and street feasts.

When the outlook for fuel prices is so uncertain, the Government faces tricky decisions on how to help motorists. Something to help less well-off households and a temporary cut in excise duty may be on the way, along with specific measures aimed at hauliers and exposed businesses. The first thing to understand about higher energy prices is the obvious one – they are a cost to an energy-importing country like Ireland. Wholesale energy prices could be back around pre-war levels by summer or way higher than they are now. Electricity and domestic natural gas prices have not increased yet and are unlikely to do so for some time.

URC: Durban Sharks 45 Munster 0Munster captain JJ Hanrahan did not mince his words after Munster were torn apart 45-0 by the Sharks in a soggy Durban on Saturday night. The Sharks were utterly commanding on the back of an outstanding pack and clinical attack in wet and slippery conditions. The Sharks pack was simply irresistible on the night, winning six scrum penalties and poaching several lineouts to leave Munster without any foothold in the game. The Sharks kicked both penalties to touch and despite a good effort in repelling the first series of attacks, Munster could do nothing to prevent the Sharks’ pack from the next lineout. Scorers for Sharks:Tries: P Buthelezi, L Giliomee, P Ganyane, E van Heerden, L Malan, M Mapimpi (2);Cons: J Hendrikse (3), J Smith (2).

Fern, Gorse, and Heather? An immaculately-presented property mix, in a super-scenic Bantry Bay/Glengarriff Bay setting, Fern House and its two small wooden chalets (currently let to two, single refugees from the ongoing war in Ukraine) are fresh to market for its house and garden-proud owners. Rising up behind through rock and moorland is the 280m/900ft high Shrone hill, said to have its name from the Irish for ‘nose’ because of its shape. One of the owners of Fern House had previously renovated a West Cork/Macroom area farmhouse, so knew how hard it can be to work with older stone dwellings. The beds have double weed-preventive membranes, there’s no lawn, and only boundary hedges for occasional cutting, all behind electric access gates with separate access for the chalets Gorse (330 sq ft) and Heather (237 sq ft), and to the 1,500 sq ft Fern House itself.

Andy Carroll enjoyed a perfect start to his managerial career as he won his first game in charge of Dagenham & Redbridge. That decision came despite the club beating Farnborough on Tuesday night in what turned out to be Bradbury's final game to leave them in 12th place in the National League South. A non-molestation order is handed out at civil court and designed to stop someone going near another person. Breaching a non-molestation order can lead to a maximum of five years in prison. 'It's obviously going to take time, but I'd say the realistic goal is getting out of this league and entering the National League.

Read More Arne Slot bemoans injury woes and fixture schedule as Liverpool lose at BrightonSubstitute Raul Jimenez wrapped up the victory from the penalty spot in stoppage time after Josh Laurent was sent off. It was a kick in the stomach for Parker, who managed Fulham to promotion in 2020 and relegation a year later and now looks odds on to repeat the trick with the Clarets. Bruno Guimaraes transfer leak truth after game-changing Newcastle United contract offer emergesIt is believed that Nick Woltemade climbed very high on the Newcastle United top earners chart when he signed from Stuttgart for £69m - but others, including newcomers, will want a similar packageView Image Newcastle United's Bruno Guimaraes (Image: Newcastle United via Getty Images)Bruno Guimaraes' contract discussions will not boil down to the club captain being the top earner at St James' Park. But Bruno's arrangement remains the same as it has been since 2023, when he signed his last extension. Chronicle Live understands that since that deal was agreed, new signings, such as Nick Woltemade, have arrived and surpassed some of the current stars in terms of salary. The big threat for Newcastle is that failure to get to Europe next season could lead to players wanting to leave. Speaking at his weekly Press briefing at the club's media centre, Howe said: "It will be after the internationals for Lewy.
