The condition, which causes persistent pain around the groin area, has made it difficult for Partey to play without discomfort, limiting his effectiveness despite his continued availability for selection. In spite of the pain, Partey is understood to have pushed himself to remain on the field in a bid to support his club, a decision that underscores his commitment and professionalism. However, the injury has inevitably taken its toll, prompting concerns over his fitness and long-term wellbeing. The same issue has also kept the midfielder out of recent national team assignments. Partey opted to prioritize recovery in order to properly address the injury, with the aim of returning to action fully fit rather than risking further complications.
