Ghana expected to generate US$3 billion from FDIs in 2021 – Yofi Grant
Business News of Thursday, 9 September 2021Source: 3news.comThe Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) Mr Yofi Grant has revealed that Ghana is expected to generate $3billion from Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) in 2021. Total investment inflows thus peaked to US$2,796.49 million in 2020, with a total FDI value of US$2,650.97 million for Ghana. The FDI value of US$2,650.97 million illustrates a significant increase of 139.06% over the FDI value of US$1,108.93 million recorded in 2019. In terms of the sector allocation of the investments, the manufacturing sector with 57 projects recorded the largest FDI value of US$1,270.53 million. This was followed by the services and mining sectors with FDI values of US$656.19 million and US$ 424,32 million respectively.

The student received several lashes at her back by the headmaster because she was generous enough to lend her jacket to a male student who showed up for class without a uniform. She later gave her jacket to the male student to wear after the headmaster had ceased the boy’s shirt and left. The headmaster later discovered the female student had given her jacket to the boy following which he lashed her several times.

The Special Prosecutor formally reported for duty at the Office on 9th August 2021. I do not know when the Acting Special Prosecutor formally handed over the administration of the office to him. Ghana Police Service has 18,000 convicts on database - IGP

Chemu SHS head, assistant to refund GH¢11,974.00 – Audit Report

"As a result, the school was denied revenue of GH¢11,974.00 to carry out its programmes," it said and recommended that the Headmaster and Assistant jointly refund the said amount to the school. President Akufo-Addo ends two days tour of the Western North Region
