3,100 organisations to be delisted from Registrar-General’s records
Business News of Monday, 4 October 2021Source: www.ghanaweb.comThe Registrar General’s Department has announced that it will from October 2021 commence processes to delist some 3,100 organisations from its ‘record of companies’. The development comes after the RDG had earlier notified the organisations and individual firms to update their records and file their annual returns as mandated by law. “The delisting process is commencing with 3100 companies being taken off the companies register by being made inactive in the database. This is the first batch of companies to be delisted this month out of the over 100, 000 companies registered since 2011” the statement read in part. It added that exercise has becomes necessary as these organisations and indivduals have failed to comply with the directive after being given a grace period of three months to file their annual returns and update their records.

Black Stars to start camping on Tuesday ahead of Zimbabwe match

2021 Law School entrance exam: Kwaku Azar demands candidates' raw scores under RTI
According to results released by the General Legal Council for this year’s entrance examination, some 790 candidates representing 28% of the 2,824 total candidates passed. “Anyway, for the avoidance of doubt and in the public interest, I have today filed an RTI to the GSL to release all the raw scores immediately,” he wrote in a Facebook post. Just a raw score of all candidates.”Professor Azar further justified his course by stating that he had a legitimate interest in the validity of the grading system used by the GLC for the examination. “I am a researcher and have a legitimate interest in the validity, reliability, and grading accuracy of the entrance examination. "I have no interest in which candidate had a particular score; my interest is in just seeing all 2,820 raw scores to assess the entrance examination.

That is not the way to go about it.”He said, the assembly members are to ensure that, Sam Pyne shows a commitment to deal with the debt. This is because, in 2016, the company obtained a similar order and attached three vehicles of the KMA, and threatened to go for more properties of the Assembly if the amount from the sale of the vehicles was not enough to defray the debt.

SIM card re-registration: The state only paying for public education - NCA

Facebook fundraiser launched for second wife of Anas' boy Ahmed Suale

Military don uniforms, have guns not to carry out coups - Akufo-Addo
According to him, the citizens paid for the military to carry guns and wear uniforms and do their constitutionally mandated jobs but not to force their way into power. Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM over the weekend during his tour of the Ashanti Region, President Akufo-Addo reiterated that ECOWAS in principle continues to oppose coups. "What I can say is that there will always be reasons for military intervention but ECOWAS has agreed that at no point is a military intervention justified. "We are opposed in principle to military intervention (because) that is not the reason why taxpayers paid for them to be in uniforms and carry guns, not to turn it (guns) on the population. He lamented the move by Guinea President Alpha Conde to run for a third term and the contested nature of the referendum that allowed him to run.
