With a police directive against prophecies that may cause “fear and panic,” Prophet Nigel adopted an evasive strategy to deliver his New Year’s Eve prophecies about Ghana without directly referring to the country. “God took my spirit to Umuofia, in a part of Umuofia I saw an entity and on the forehead of the entity, I saw Kyerematen. And the Lord said look at that, and I saw; I saw an effort being made to take a golden key that belongs to him. On the key, I saw that there were colours on the golden key but predominantly I saw something like blue.

This comes after the Inspector-General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare ordered men of God to be measured in their prophetic declarations. As church service was ongoing at the Alive Chapel International, headed by Salifu Amoako, a policeman was spotted walking amongst the congregation from one end to the other. It was a moment of laughter after a 'stiff' atmosphere when Salifu Amoako was informed that the police officer was worshipping with them. He explained that he thought the Inspector-General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare sent him [the police officer] to oversee his work. I thought Dampare sent you," GhanaWeb captured him saying.

The now former Greater Accra Public Affairs Director, DSP Mrs. Elizabeth Effia Tenge, will be in charge of the Volta Regional Public Affairs Directorate following the reshuffle. DSP Ms. Juliana ObengDeputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ms. Juliana Obeng, returned to take over her old position as the Greater Accra Regional Public Affairs Director in the shakeup. She was until then in charge of Public Affairs at the CID headquarters.

Bleeding Pharmacist Drives To KATH For Treatment After Being Shot By Robbers
According to a report by myjoyonline.com sighted by GhanaWeb, the pharmacist managed to drive for about four miles while bleeding to receive medical care at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) when the gunmen shot him. The robbers according to the report after storming Mr Agyei’s pharmacy at Agric-Kromoase in Kumasi, sighted the victim in his car close to the shop trying to escape from the scene. A gunman shot the pharmacist and went ahead to deflate his tyres with another shot, the report added. The pharmacist, while bleeding and through his pain drove from Kromoase to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Emergency unit to receive medical attention.
