WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Joe Biden, fresh off his first major bipartisan victory, is turning to larger efforts aimed at shoring up faith in democracy and convening a summit with other world leaders later this year. “The challenge of our time is to demonstrate that democracies can deliver by improving the lives of their own people and by addressing the greatest problems facing the wider world,” it said. A record 155 million Americans cast ballots in the November 2020 election that Biden won by more than seven million votes. Western democracies cast a wary eye at the United States under Trump, who tore up traditional alliances and praised stronger ties with Russia and China. Republicans have balked at proposed legislation in Congress, arguing it would give the federal government too much control in local elections.

MILFORD - A big sky-blue bus pulled into Milford Monday morning, but it wasn’t there to pick up passengers. We walked, got some exercise.”The VaxBuses have been traveling around the state delivering vaccines, no appointment needed. The bus crew told the Milford Health Department the Milford stop was the busiest vaccine event they’d done, delivering 85 doses to people. At the VaxBus stop in Milford, many said the convenience of the site - and not the gift card to local grocery stores offered to the first 100 people in line - was why they were getting vaccinated that day. That’s the whole idea.”For more information about the Massachusetts VaxBus and where you can find it, visit https://www.mass.gov/vaxbus .

Dr. Jeff HershDaily News CorrespondentQ: When I am in a dark place for a while and then get exposed to sunlight, I sneeze. The exact genetics of the ACHOO syndrome are not (yet) known; it is believed to be a condition inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion (if you get the gene from either parent you will have the ACHOO syndrome). The ACHOO syndrome is not the only example of a (supposed) cross-reaction between a body function and the sneezing reflex. So, if you seem to sneeze after being exposed to bright light, you are not alone! Although there is no treatment available for the ACHOO syndrome, learning about it can help you avoid possible dangerous situations.
