The child had been left unattended while his parents were napping at noon on May 15. According to the driver, Nguyen Trong Hai, it was 1:50 pm and the road was quite empty so many drivers were driving at high speeds. When going through Bong Khe Commune, Con Uong District, he saw a small child crawling on the road and fortunately was able to stop the car in time. It appeared that the parents left the house unsecured and the child crawled out to find his parents.
