Former President Donald Trump appeared to turn down participating in another presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris as two major television networks, Fox News and CNN, vie to host another matchup. Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday, less than 30 minutes before he campaigned in Reading, Pennsylvania. "BESIDES, KAMALA STATED CLEARLY, YESTERDAY, THAT SHE WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT THAN JOE BIDEN, SO THERE IS NOTHING TO DEBATE." Featured Local SavingsHarris and Trump faced off during an ABC News debate held last month in Philadelphia while President Joe Biden and Trump debated on June 27 in Atlanta, which Trump pointed to as a reason for turning down any more debates. I ACCEPTED THE FOX-NEWS INVITATION TO DEBATE KAMALA ON SEPTEMBER 4TH, BUT SHE TURNED IT DOWN," he wrote.

Honda Recalls 1.7 Million Vehicles Over Steering Risks Nearly 1.7 million Honda and Acura vehicles affected by potential steering gearbox defect and difficulty steering may increase crash risksHonda is hitting the brakes on nearly 1.7 million vehicles due to potential steering problems, which could increase the risk of crashes. The recall, announced recently, affects some of the automaker’s most popular models, including the 2022 to 2025 Honda Civic and 2023 to 2025 Honda CR-V. This manufacturing flaw stems from the steering gearbox assembly, possibly causing the steering wheel to become unusually difficult to turn. Before this recall, Honda had acknowledged complaints over persisting steering problems dating back to September 2021, when they began to receive reports from drivers. According to Honda’s statements, the manufacturing issue causes the gearbox's worm wheel to swell when exposed to heat and moisture.

Global energy companies are currently pushing to build at least four major biomass pellet plants along the West Coast: two in Washington and two in California. Many spoke about negative impacts of the forest biomass industry in their countries. Climate, forest and environmental justice groups are already rallying their supporters to engage in this permitting process. Today, opponents of forest biomass are building similarly diverse coalitions. Biomass companies like Drax and GSNR don’t qualify for major subsidies under U.S. federal law — at least not yet.

The development gives former President Donald Trump an important structural advantage in the November election. That compares with Democratic leads of 6 points in 2020, 7 points in 2016 and 9 points in 2012. “It’s definitely unusual,’’ Jeffrey Jones , senior editor of Gallup polling, said of the GOP advantage. Defections from Trump among some GOP voters was one reason for her lead. In combining all its surveys in a given year, Gallup has found the GOP leading in party identification only three times since 1991.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an estate gardener? Perhaps you’ve visited the Biltmore Estate, Longwood Gardens or other private estates that are now open to the public. I once worked as a groundskeeper on an estate near Princeton, New Jersey owned by J. Seward Johnson, a founder of consumer product giant Johnson & Johnson. The Lawrenceville estate was his gift to her, called “Jasna Polana” (Polish for “bright clearing”), designed to evoke the palaces of the European nobility. I recently toured Jasna Polana, to see how it has changed in the fifty years since I was last on the property.

So, no matter what we say, or what Ferguson says, that pressure is going to be there. And, for once, it isn’t us—it’s not Celtic fans or the blogs piling on.
