IPOH: A group of youths made a giant Malaysian flag and draped it over the iconic "Ipoh" sign that greets incoming motorists at Simpang Pulai here. They even documented their "feat" in a one-minute clip, which shows them purchasing the material, putting it together, painting the Malaysian flag, and placing it over the sign. However, checks on the sign located at KM294.4 of the North-South Expressway near Simpang Pulai showed there was no flag present. Earlier this year, a group of eight youths had climbed up the iconic Ipoh sign perched on a hilltop that overlooks the Kuala Kangsar road, near the Gunung Lang area. It is yet to be determined if this is the same group of people who put flag up the flag.
