Children and youth from Somerset West had the opportunity to take part in the Silverleaf Galactic Quest holiday programme hosted by the Vacation Bible School (VBS) from Monday 3 to Saturday 8 July. Gizelle Swanepoel, director of VBS, said the interactive programme was hosted at Silverleaf Church at Helderberg High School on the Helderberg College campus. “Investigation Station Galactic Quest is an interactive VBS programme that teaches children God loves us so much he has a plan to save us,” she said. “The children watched a movie from the Geoscience Research Institute of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists church,” Swanepoel said. Swanepoel also thanked those who supported the fundraisers to be able to make the Galactic Quest VBS possible.
