The Word Christchurch book festival has announced new dates in November after the Covid-19 lockdown disrupted their original schedule. The festival was originally scheduled for this week, but was postponed on Saturday after the Government moved the country into level 4 lockdown. “We’re proud of our 2021 programme, and we are grateful to the writers and everyone else who has been very supportive of turning this around.”supplied Christchurch Word festival programme director Rachael King. Ticket holders would be contacted about transferring tickets to new dates and refunds, King said.
