A 23-year old woman from Giking viollage in Nyandarua County is a lead suspect in the murder of her daughter aged 4, the area OCPD Mr Joseph Cheruiyot has said. According to the woman’s neighbours, the woman who is under police custody at Ol Joro Orok police station hated and harassed the diseased young girl over unidentified reasons. Observations made at the scene gave leads that the girl must have been tortured before her death. The suspect is an orphan and has raised the child that she gave birth to when 19.
