Wolves face competition from Bournemouth if they are to secure the signature of Bristol City’s 19-year-old Alex Scott this summer. Wolves' own plans of strengthening this summer depend on balancing the books to comply with Financial Fair Play restrictions so it remains to be seen whether they will be able to make the investment in Scott if Bristol City hold out for that fee. The teenager already has 83 league starts to his name, scoring five league goals. Scott grew up in Guernsey and was in the academies at Southampton and Bournemouth before going back to Guernsey FC and then being taken on by Bristol City in 2019.
