JAMIE CARRAGHER has picked the star who is a "better fit than Mason Mount" for a Manchester United transfer. Despite United edging closer to signing Mount, Carragher believes one of his England team-mates is a "better fit" for the club. Carragher has called on Erik ten Hag to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice instead. He told Metro.co.uk: "Mason Mount is an upgrade on Christian Eriksen in terms of where he plays. "But going back to Declan Rice, United are one of the few teams at the top who don’t play 4-3-3, it’s usually two midfielders with Bruno Fernandes.
