Wetang'ula wants a High court in Nairobi to charge Walukhe for alleging that his Presidential bid was being funded by the Jubilee government. Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula on Thursday sued Sirisia Mp John Walukhe for defamation. Wetang'ula said the MP has caused injurious articles to be published in newspapers to propel the false claim. The Cord co principal filed the suit against the Mp over the statements allegedly made in April 2016. The senator, who is seeking special damages for the defamatory matter, has not indicated in his claims how much he wants Walukhe to pay for maligning his name.
