Breakfast cereal maker Weetabix East Africa wants to partner with the government to drive healthy eating habits to reduce prevalence of lifestyle diseases. He spoke after the company yesterday received its certification and accreditation from KNDI for quality manufacturing of food products. The company, which said it will focus on manufacture of nutritious foods that promote a healthy lifestyle, said it plans to work closely with agencies such as KenyaNutritionistsandDietitiansInstitute to achieve this goal. The company makes the popular Weetabix brand of breakfast cereals.
